How to redeem your IOSM access code

Bought an Interactive Online Student Materials code? Here's how to use it in your school's Learning Management System.

warning_amber Before you redeem — read this

  • Your code is valid for 12 months after the first time you redeem it.
  • Keep your purchase email — it's the only place your code lives. Check spam/junk if you can't find it.
  • IOSM is only used inside your school's LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, Schoology, Moodle). You will not use it on dawnsign.com.
  • Your teacher must require IOSM and have set it up in your course. If they haven't, your code won't work — ask your teacher first.
  • Once redeemed, your code locks to your email and cannot be transferred.

A short walkthrough showing exactly where to paste your code inside your LMS course.

Step by step

Four steps to access your materials

1

Confirm your teacher requires IOSM

Interactive Online Student Materials only work when your teacher has set up IOSM in your course's Learning Management System (Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, Schoology, or Moodle). If you bought a code but your teacher hasn't set it up, the code won't work.

2

Log in to your school's LMS

Sign in to your LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, Schoology, or Moodle) using your school account. IOSM is NOT used directly on dawnsign.com — only inside your LMS course.

3

Open the IOSM tool in your course

Inside your course, look for "Interactive Online Student Materials" or "IOSM" in the course content/modules. Click it to launch.

4

Enter your access code

The first time you launch IOSM, it asks for your access code. Paste the code from your purchase email exactly as shown. Once redeemed, the code locks to your email for 12 months — you won't need to enter it again.
